5 Nations
Firstly many congratulations to Lisa Hoole who has been selected to fence on the Scottish Team at the 5 Nations in Cardiff on November 5th. This is Lisa's second selection for this tournament and we wish her all the very best.
Update - Poor Lisa has had to withdraw due to a bad chest infection.


Coventry Open
Well done to Katharine who finished 10th/16 at the Coventry Open a couple of weeks ago.


Elite Epee Junior Series
Well done to Owen who finished 12/41 in the first Elite Epee Junior Series event of the season yesterday. This was his first competition in the U16 age group.


Cinema Night
A big thankyou to Sharon for organising the Cinema night to see the new Musketeers film, it was a very successful night and everyone who attended really enjoyed it.


*OCTOBER UPDATES

Level 3 Coach
Many congratulations to Robert Pryer who has just passed his Level 3 Foil Coaching Award which he can now add to his Level 3 Sabre & Level 2 Epee.


The Wellesbourne Trophy (Civil Service Fencing)
Congratulations to Malc, Mike & Katharine, fencing on the Civil Service Team at the Wellesbourne Team Invitation event last weekend. The Civil Service won the event (again!) and Mike also won two individual medals.
