NEW Sparkly Website!

Well, here it is...as promised, our NEW sparkly website!
We have had a bit of a spruce up 'front of house' and we have some lovely new features but my main aim, 'back of house' was to change our prehistoric software for completely new, up to date, Google-friendly software. Hopefully it will make your user experience much better and it will certainly make my day to day updating experience better!
I have tried not to hide anything, so the menu is pretty self explanatory and should get you to where you are going quickly. As you can see the menu and page headings are in gold, any text in the bright gold is a link to other websites, rankings and also all our own articles and information PDF's.
We now have a new rolling News/Blog section. From now on all the club news, announcements, competition news, results and congratulatory messages will be posted in this section. You can all interact now and post comments on all the individual News/Blog posts or send in any new news or results that you have by filling in the form on the 'Contact' page. Your comments will come through to me first and after I've checked they are decent (!) they will appear on the site. (Any bad taste posts will not be shown! Not that we're like that at Chilwell!)
For our 'Competition Fencers' we have direct links to the UK Rankings/BFA Competitions Calendar/Veteran & East Mids sites. For everyone you have direct links on the 'Links' page to just about everything! Any links you would like adding, please let me know.
We also have a new Guestbook, so either you or new visitors to the site can leave us a message. Remember we still have our Facebook page for general chit chat.
We have a new Photo Gallery, with selected photos from different events from the year. Those of you who have been members for a while will know about 'Around The World with Chilwell Blades'. Basically you take a photo of you in your Chilwell T.Shirt, Hoodie or Tracksuit in front of well known attractions/statues/places/restaurants etc, from around the world and we see how far we've travelled! It would be nice for more club members to be involved so send in your photos please!
Also, if you have photos of you collecting medals and trophies please send them in for our Trophy Cabinet! I've put on all the ones I can find but I'm sure we have more somewhere! This is a nice gallery as it also serves as a record of our achievements over the years.
