congratulations Silvia Earl who finished 15th/37 in the Womens Epee and 7th/21 in the Womens Sabre and Malc who finished 15th/37 in the Mens Sabre at the British Veterans Championships last weekend also!!
congratulations & news A belated Congratulations! to Mike Berry who won the Yorkshire Sabre last weekend, also to Dave Woollands who came 2nd and to Silvia Earl who came 3rd in the Womens Sabre.
congratulations & news It was a proud weekend for us this weekend, Chilwells black jackets were out in force and came home with plenty of glassware! We kicked off on Saturday. Congratulations to Lisa winning the Silver in the Womens Sabre, Nickola finished 12th /20. Sam 17th, Malc 35th & Alley finished 36 in the Mens Foil & Katharine 23rd in the Womens Foil.
Then onto the Sunday. Congratulations to Mike who won the Mens Sabre, Tom finished 3rd after narrowly missing the final by 1 hit! Dave Woollands 10th, Ben 11th, Malc 15th - Congratulations to Malc for winning the highest vet for two years running! And Greg who finished 27th, all Mens Sabre.
A huge thankyou also to all of our 'Mexican waving' Chilwell team mates who came down to cheer us on!! It really makes a difference having you all there.

epee league We have entered the East Midlands epee league and are one of 8 teams taking part. We will have 2 matches against each of the other 7 teams. To minimise the amount of travelling, matches are grouped together so that each time we will fence at least two matches. For each match we need 3 fencers, although having a reserve would be useful. Please let me know if you are available to take part in any of these matches. Robert

east midlands region east midlands seniors & youth championships 14th march - entry form
national tournaments excalibur 2010 - 1st & 2nd may Nottingham/Derby have been selected to send a team to 'Excalibur' in May. It will be held in the Sports Hall of Bath University’s Sports Training Village. It is 2 days of solid fencing & requires an overnight stay. A team consists of at least eighteen fencers: three at each weapon: Mens Foil, Womens Foil, Mens Epee, Womens Epee, Mens Sabre and Womens Sabre. FENCERS MAY ONLY TAKE PART IN ONE WEAPON.
